• XML::Auth (soon online) as GNU project
  • A XML authentication engine based on XML::Simple. Can be used together with XML::Twig with minor enhancements. This authentication engine supports cleartext, MD5, SHA1, TICKET, expiration support and UID/SID support. It's goal is to support authentication through XML.

    It's routines include (but not limited to) reading from XML files for authenticating, expiration handling all chosen by programmer, automatic ticket/user-pass pair/id detection, writing user information with(out) authentication, pre-reading user-information before authentication into a hashref.

    If anyone else is working with this, please let me know and maybe we can work out something together with this XML::Auth project.
